Psalm 1:3

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

 

- stream: 시내. (참고: streamer: 펄럭이는 장식)

- yield = produce (양보하다라는 뜻도 있음)

- wither: 시들다(보통 away와 잘 어울림)

- prosper: 번영하다.

 

like를 좋아하다라고 해석하는 분은 없겠죠?^^ 직유법입니다. 마지막 문장을 봅시다. 그가 하는 모든것은 다 잘 될고 번성할것이다. 이 말씀의 근거는 무엇일까요? 그 사람은 물가에 심기워진 나무같기때문에 그렇습니다.

 

믿는 사람들에게는(말씀을 사모하는 자에게는) 복받는 것이 기적이 아니라 상식입니다.
